Mt. Fuji is a record label based in Seattle, WA that was formed in 2005 by Michael Jaworski. In February of that year, Mt. Fuji would release it’s first record, the debut full-length by the Omaha-based band Little Brazil entitled You and Me. Later that year, Mt. Fuji would release an E.P. and full-length record by Jaworski’s band, The Cops. As time has passed, the label has slowly expanded adding releases by Slender Means, Lillydale, The Whore Moans, Point Juncture WA, Black Whales, The Maldives, Virgin Islands and most recently Wow & Flutter. The label has more releases planned for 2011 and beyond. This fall, the label has several releases planned including an upcoming split single between Spiral Stairs (Pavement, Preston School of Industry) and Long Winters and the new album from Wow & Flutter!
